Introduction
RQ SpamFinish allows you delete spam automatically
or manually before download it to your computer. This
Anti spam tool
based on black and white-list and compare the messages fields [From], [To] and
[Subject] with this lists. If message contain text from blacklist and NOT
contain
text from white
list, it can be deleted on the server
directly.
RQ SpamFinish
can works in two modes - Auto and Manual.
When RQ SpamFinish minimize to tray it can automatically delete messages
that
contains text from blacklist and NOT
contains text from white list without any popup messages. (If you set "AutoDelete
Spam" check box)
In manual mode you can preview messages headers and mark messages to save or
delete manually.
RQ SpamFinish support POP3 protocol and safety encode mailboxes passwords.
You can use RQ SpamFinish without registration to checking
one mailbox only.

1.Input general password when you starting program at first time.
This password required to safety access to your mailbox passwords in future.
2. Input mailboxes data into the mailbox table (top table) - E-mail, Server POP3 , User, Password.
Directly type data in the table cells.
E-mail passwords will be coded and saved in service.tbl file.
Note!
Only mailboxes marked by blue mark will be polled!
When you starting program next time - passwords will be hided (Password
column width is equal 0) and program started minimized in tray.
To access mailboxes passwords you need click on the menu item Settings-Show passwords
and then input general password in the appeared form.
If you input wrong general password - mailbox password column will be showed,
but passwords will hided by asterisks.
To add new mailbox in the table - mouse right click on the table and use
popup menu Insert row and input new data.

3. Set options in panel
Autodelete Spam -
delete messages
that contains text from blacklist and NOT
contains text from white list without any prompt messages. Otherwise
you can preview messages headers and mark messages to save or delete manually.
Save copies - save copies of
messages in SPAM subfolder in files named
email-spam-date-time.txt, where email - is email
address of mailbox,
date-time - when message was received.
Interval - time interval of mailboxes polling (in minutes)
Headers only - receive message header only and N lines of messages body. It quicken up message downloading and decrease traffic.
4. You can set Incoming mail sound signal
When SpamFinish receive message with required [From], [Subject], [To] fields it
play sound that you set in the Wave file cell.
To change wave file, click on the selected Wave file cell and choose file
in the open file dialog window.

program to tray and it will works automatically. Every N minutes program will polling mailboxes from list, check e-mail an delete (or mark only) spam messages. |
4. White and Black lists (How SpamFinish
recognize spam)

To add data to filter - mouse right click on the message table and selected
field will be added to filter table - [From] field - to [From] filter, [Subject]
field - to [Subject] filter etc.
To add new line empty in the table - mouse right click on the table and use
popup menu Insert row and input new data.

When program running, filters data loading in the special tables, as you can see
on the picture above.
Program check every messages fields [From], [Subject], [To] and if one of this
fields contains text from white list - message marked by "white label".
Message marked with White Label will not checked with Black list and will not be deleted in any case!
Otherwise program compare every messages fields [From],
[Subject], [To] with fields from black list.
If one of this fields contains text from black list - message marked by
"black label". This message will be deleted, if Autodelete Spam
checkbox is checked.
In other word, White list has high priority than
Black list.
For example:
Black list [From] field=on
meds
White list [From] field=pharmanova
Message [From] field = Cut your expences
on meds!
This message will be marked Black Label, because it contain text
"on meds".
Message [From] field = PharmaNova
is new word on meds!
This message will be marked White Label because it contain text "pharmanova"
- it has high priority then "on meds"
Note!
1. No Match Case difference!
2. Only cells, marked by
( automatic black
label) in black list, is used.
I.e. you can cancel this cell, changing label (by mouse click)
5. Program behavior.
There are 3 types of labels
- automatic
black label
- manual black
label
- white label
When program window minimized to tray,
it automatically
polling mailboxes from mailbox list every N minutes, check e-mail
save e-mail fields in the table and mark messages by
or
labels. Or
no mark messages, if it not contain text from white or Black list.

Only mailboxes marked by blue mark will be polled!
Then program check message table and if Autodelete Spam checkbox is
checked - delete messages, marked by
from server.
Program saves information about deleted messages in the log file.

information about spam in log file and not delete messages.

When program window
maximized, it automatically

no mark messages, if it not contain text from white or Black list.
Then program check message table and if Autodelete Spam checkbox is
checked - delete messages, marked by
from server.
If there are unmarked messages in the table - program open prompt window and
propose that user mark this message manually.
User also can check all mailboxes or only selected mailbox manually in any time
using Check mailbox(es) buttons

How to register
When you run non registered application, the first window appears is "About"
form.
You can purchase SpamFinish via Plimus registration service.
Registration codes will be sent to you within 24 hours.
If you already have Registration codes - press Later button.
Then use Help-Registration code menu item.
Click Registration code menu.
Registration form appears.
Input license data - Name and Code that you receive and press Yes
button..
